Accurant is hiring an experienced tax & audit accountant to work out of our Austin, MN location. Accurant LLC is a progressive, expanding, full-service accounting and tax firm with multiple locations throughout the Midwest. Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a similar field required
•CPA license or Enrolled Agent certification preferred
•At least five years of extensive tax prep experience (individual, corporate, and partnership tax) in a CPA firm setting
•At least five years of leading audits (non-profit and government) in a CPA firm setting
•Must live near the office in order to meet with clients in-person
•Strong knowledge of tax law, regulatory compliance accounting, and financial reporting standards

Responsibilities:
•Lead audits for non-profit, for-profit, and governmental organizations
•Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, non-profits, and businesses
•Review the work of less experienced staff
•Collaborate with clients to communicate tax strategies effectively, addressing inquiries related to tax reporting, tax law changes, and financial analysis
