NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the Freeborn County Sheriff`s office Law Enforcement Center Conference Room, 411 South Broadway, Albert Lea, Minnesota, 56007, the Sheriff of Freeborn County will sell to the highest bidder for cash at public auction the real property legally described as follows:
Lot Seventeen (17), Block Thirty Four (34), Hawthorne Homes Subdivision of the Second and Third Home Division to the City of Albert Lea, Freeborn County, Minnesota, according to the recorded plats thereof in the office of the Register of Deeds of Freeborn County, Minnesota, together with any parts or parcels of real estate which may heretofore or may hereafter become a part and portion of said property by reason of the vacation of any adjacent streets or alleys in said addition or subdivision
Property Address: 1009 Columbus Ave, Albert Lea, MN 56007
This sale is directed by, and will be made pursuant to the Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law, Order for Judgment and Judgment and Decree entered in the above-entitled action on February 5, 2026, and describing the real property to be sold, in order to satisfy the judgment found due and owing to U.S. Bank National Association, subject to redemption rights as determined by the court. A certified copy of the Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law, Order for Judgment and Judgment and Decree has been delivered to the office of the Freeborn County Sheriff, and is attached.
